About The Ministry

The Ministry of Science Technology and Vocational Training was established in 1992 through a Presidential Order No. 42 with the main function of developing science and technology and provision of technical education and vocational training.

The Ministry has reformed the provision of technical education vocational and entrepreneurship training by implementing government policy on Technical Education Vocational and Training. This has involved redefining the role of the Ministry by the creation of Technical Education, Read More....

Solwezi TTI Recieves Face Lift

Solwezi Trades Training Institute is one of institutions under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Vocational Training. It was established in 1993. The college started its operations at temporary premises allocated by the North-Western Provincial Administration Offices.

ZASTI AND ZAF SIGN MOU ON PILOT TRAINING

THE Zambia Air Services Training Institute (ZASTI) and the Zambia Air Force (ZAF) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to second flying instructors to the institute in order to help the institute enhance its pilot training.
